The project was to create a realistic illustration. I decided to do a entire car because I love Ford Mustangs. I didn't want to do just any Mustang. I wanted it to be personal and mean something, so I decided to illustrate my Dad's Mustang. I took my own photograph of his car and went from there. This illustration was done completely in Illustrator. I like seeing progress, so I decided to screenshot my work after every big step I completed. My mustang was completed primarily by using color, gradient meshes, blends, shapes, and transparencies. The second picture is outline mode. The last picture is my illustration being used in a real world application. I made a Ford Mustang billboard and the billboard is scaled down.
